Project Manager - Compressor Plants
The position will be based in Milan (ITALY). Reporting will be in direct line to Vice President Operations.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Interact with headquarter engineering dept. for technical definition and finalization of bare compressor
• Draft material requisitions / specifications for drivers and main auxiliaries; request quotation to local and global sub-vendors
• Ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risk
• Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical data sheets and material requisitions
• Attendance to Technical and Management meetings with Clients and Vendors
Required skills:
• Proven working experience (at least 4/5 years) as project manager in similar technological sector (Industrial Plants - Oil & Gas) preferably at OEMs
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• AutoCAD
• MS Office
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Basic knowledge of SAP
• PMP/ IPMA certification is a plus
Education and requirements:
• Master Degree in Electronics/Automation/Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering
• Proactivity and flexibility
• Good communication skills, ability to adapt to different cultures, customers and colleagues
• Willingness to international travel inside Europe and Middle East
