Adecco LifeScience, a specialised division of the Adecco Group, is looking for a client company, leader in the
cosmetics sector, for a:
Chief Accountant CM
The resource will ensure the correct recording of reporting activities as per standard operating procedures and will carry out accounting tasks to ensure the monthly reporting of the company. He/she will collaborate with internal and external auditors and interface within the team with the General Manager, Finance Directors, and the GBS team in order to optimise processes and align financial data with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting and financial management: Ensure the proper recording and updating of accounting transactions in line with statutory and corporate requirements, manage statutory and legal budgets, and comment on budgets for the FPA process;
2. Regulatory Compliance and Control: Ensure compliance with local and global regulations, including SOX controls, managing inspections, statutory audits and processes for USGAAP and statutory adjustments;
3. Collaboration and consulting: Work closely with various business teams (tax, finance, accounting, internal controls) to streamline processes, improve efficiency and resolve tax and accounting issues;
4. Process monitoring and improvement: Continuously reviewing and improving internal and local procedures, seeking innovative solutions to increase efficiency and quality of operations;
5. Professional development: Expand financial and accounting skills through training courses, studying best practices, and actively participating in professional development and knowledge sharing.
Responsabilità:
Requirements:
1. Degree in Finance/Accounting. Possession of professional certifications in accounting will be considered a plus;
2. At least 4 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in multinational companies;
3. Excellent knowledge of accounting systems and IFRS and US GAAP standards;
4. Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
5. Leadership skills, to develop and motivate an effective team in a multicultural environment;
6. Strong inclination to be proactive, to learn quickly and to constantly improve processes and skills;
7. Excellent organisational skills, discipline and ability to work to deadlines.
